This focused Scene Share update makes setup clearer and keeps update checks dependable.
  • Shortened the dock header to Scene Share so the vAudioLink name is not repeated.
  • Kept CoreAudio AAC optional and selected by default, with clearer guidance for creators who may already have it.
  • Fixed the updater so cancelling or finding no newer version cannot leave an invisible process blocking the next check.
  • Fixed current Windows 11 compatibility detection in the updater.
  • Kept the creator in control: vAudioLink asks before installing and never closes OBS or stops an active output.
Scene Share 1.0.0 can install this release through View update in the dock. You can also download the signed installer and checksum from the Scene Share 1.0.1 GitHub release.

ASMR Collab and Scene Share are now ready as the first full vAudioLink release. Music Collab remains a separately versioned closed beta.
  • Replaced the legacy installer with a warmer Inno Setup 7 experience that finds OBS, checks every required file, and never force-closes OBS.
  • Added the optional CoreAudio AAC support choice to every product installer.
  • Added a confirmed Install update flow to every dock. It waits until streaming, recording, replay buffer, and virtual camera outputs are stopped, then opens an external WinSparkle updater that verifies the installer before running it.
  • Kept Check now as a check-only action so a click never changes files.
  • Improved live relay selection and the guided hosting/joining flow for ASMR Collab and Scene Share.
Save your work before updating. Setup will wait for you to close OBS and lets you retry; it never closes OBS or stops an output for you. Download the signed installers and checksum file from the vAudioLink 1.0.0 GitHub release.

v0.1.15 (historical)

This coordinated release aligns ASMR Collab and Music Collab with the Scene Share dock design and publishes all three products at version 0.1.15.
  • Unified the Role → Room → Configure → Live flow, compact Live bar, footer, controls, and shared overflow menu.
  • Fixed OBS shutdown hangs in the Scene Share and Music Collab lifecycle paths.
  • Fixed the Music Collab stylesheet regression that could make controls appear damaged or clipped.
  • Hardened all three Windows installers so stale per-user dock DLLs are removed and verified before the new module is installed.
  • Added Customer Panel, Documentation, and Support destinations to the shared dock menu. ASMR Collab and Scene Share expose Start Self-Hosting where supported; Music Collab exposes Setlist folder.
  • Added the hosted Scene Share Stage flow. Accountless guests can wait backstage, explicitly become Ready, optionally share one silent preview still, and send their full Program only while selected by the host.
  • Added readable Audio-..., Karaoke-..., Scene-..., and Stage-... credentials while retaining the supported legacy compatibility paths.
  • Added saved Music Collab setlists, an audio-only backing fallback, and safer active-session shutdown.
  • Persisted revocable installation authorization so a valid signed-in dock can be reused after OBS restarts.
  • Added the shared hosted-time balance and Add 20 hours action, including protection for an active session that reaches zero.
This predecessor is retained here for change history; its public release assets have been retired in favor of v1.0.0.

Public installer policy

The Downloads page is the source for explicitly promoted Windows installers. A repository build or newer artifact is not automatically approved for a production session. Each product versions independently. The public stable downloads are:
  • ASMR Collab 1.0.0
  • Scene Share 1.0.1
vAudioLink Karaoke for Music Collab remains a closed beta and is not a public release download.

Before updating

  1. Note the currently installed plugin version.
  2. Save any OBS log needed for an open support issue.
  3. End the active session.
  4. Close OBS completely.
  5. Download the promoted installer.

Compatibility

The current public documentation targets:
  • Windows 11.
  • 64-bit OBS Studio 31 and 32.
  • Separate installers for ASMR Collab, Music Collab, and Scene Share.
Release-specific changes can add stricter requirements. Use the information shipped with the promoted installer when it conflicts with a general page.

Documentation can be updated between plugin releases to clarify an existing workflow. A documentation update does not by itself indicate a new plugin binary.
