- Headphones for both participants.
- A stable internet connection.

Shared dock path
All three docks use the same persistent Role → Room → Configure → Live rail:- Role — choose Host or Guest. This selection alone does not capture or send media.
- Room — create the hosted audio room or Scene Share Stage, or privately enter the supplied guest key or Stage code.
- Configure — confirm the intended OBS scene, local source, and plugin-owned collaboration source or source group.
- Live — continue only when both sides are ready, then monitor status, elapsed time, connection mode, and relay latency.

Definition of a successful first session
You are finished when:- Both docks show the expected connected or live state; for Scene Share, the intended guest is selected on stage.
- The collaboration source has been added to the intended OBS scene.
- Incoming audio is not routed back to its sender.
- A short local recording contains the expected channels, backing track, or program video.
- Ending the session leaves your global OBS stream and recording settings unchanged.
