Follow Discord is an optional room-selection mode for ASMR Collab and Music Collab. Discord handles presence and talkback; vAudioLink handles production audio.
Scene Share does not support Follow Discord. It is a one-way program-sharing product.

Requirements

  • The discord_rooms feature is enabled for the account and community.
  • The user’s Discord identity is linked to the vAudioLink account.
  • The Discord voice channel is bound to a supported vAudioLink room.
  • The appropriate ASMR Collab or Music Collab dock is installed.

Join the Discord voice channel

Join the voice channel associated with the collaboration room.

Choose Follow Discord in OBS

Open the product dock, host a session, and set Room mode to Follow Discord.Select Continue after the dock recognizes the linked account and voice presence.

Opt in to sending

Enable the product’s explicit send opt-in. Joining a Discord channel alone does not start transmitting production audio.

Verify the active room

Confirm the dock shows the expected community or channel room and connected participants before adding sources.

Check for double routing

Decide whether Discord is talkback-only or part of the stream mix. If OBS captures both Discord and the vAudioLink incoming source, the audience may hear duplicates.

Presence changes

  • Moving to another bound voice channel moves the active collaboration room.
  • Leaving the sponsored room stops or clears the pushed room after the leave event.
  • Sending still depends on your explicit opt-in.
