vAudioLink is three separate OBS products. Both participants must open the same product.

Host or sender

Choose the workflow by what you need to place in the other creator’s OBS scene. The host or sender signs in when using the hosted relay, creates the session, and privately shares the generated credential.

Guest or receiver

Start from the type of credential you received.
Guests do not need a vAudioLink account. A hosted Scene Share guest waits backstage and sends the full Program feed only after becoming Ready and being selected by the host.

Hosted room, Stage, or Follow Discord

  • Choose Direct OBS Room for a private ASMR Collab or Music Collab guest-key session.
  • Choose a hosted Stage for Scene Share. Share one Stage code, let guests wait backstage, and select one Ready guest’s Program at a time.
  • Choose Follow Discord for an eligible ASMR Collab community that wants the room to follow Discord voice presence. Music Collab contains the mode, but the public Discord slash-command setup does not create Music bindings yet.
  • Scene Share never uses Follow Discord.

Hosted or self-hosted

Use the hosted relay for the account-managed experience and automatic relay selection. Use Start Self-Hosting from the overflow menu when you want to run the bundled relay or server without a hosted account. ASMR Collab 1.0.0 supports the full current two-dock flow. Scene Share’s direct sender/server generates a private Receiver SRT URL, but the current Scene Share 1.0.1 guest route cannot paste it and requires a legacy-compatible receiver. Music Collab 0.1.18 has no local-relay dock option. See Self-host from OBS. Hosted sessions use the sponsoring creator’s allowance. See Hosted time for the included 20 hours, refills, and empty-balance behavior.
