# Send with Scene Share

> Authorize Scene Share, configure the hosted sender, and share an encrypted Receiver SRT URL.

Scene Share sends your entire OBS Program output as one H.264 video and AAC audio stream. It is one-way.

## Before you start

* Install **vScene** on both computers.
* Build the exact OBS Program view you intend to share.
* Hide private windows, dock credentials, notifications, and sources that must not leave your computer.
* Confirm the receiver understands that they need an encrypted Receiver SRT URL, not an audio guest key.

  <Step title="Open Scene Share">
    In OBS, select **Docks → vAudioLink Scene Share**.

    On **Set up Scene Share**, select **Sign in to send**.

  <Step title="Authorize in your browser">
    Complete the browser authorization and return to OBS.

    **Expected result:** the dock displays **Sending your program** with sender controls.

  <Step title="Select relay and bitrate">
    Choose the closest healthy **Relay region**. Select a bitrate:

    * **3 Mbps** for constrained upload capacity.
    * **6 Mbps (recommended)** for the normal starting point.
    * **8 Mbps** only when the sender and receiver paths have comfortable headroom.

  <Step title="Start sending">
    Select **Start sending**.

    **Expected result:** the dock reports an on-air or sending state, shows upload throughput, and generates an encrypted **Receiver SRT URL**.

  <Step title="Copy the receiver URL">
    Copy the complete Receiver SRT URL and send it privately to the receiver.

    Treat the URL as a temporary secret: it contains the information required to receive this session.

  <Step title="Wait for the receiver">
    Ask the other person to follow [Receive with Scene Share](/guides/scene-receiver).

    Watch the receiver and pull metrics in the dock. A connected receiver should produce active status and throughput.

  <Step title="Run an A/V test">
    Speak while making a visible clap or slate in Program. Ask the receiver to confirm that picture and sound arrive together.

    Verify the receiver sees the intended 1920×1080, 60 fps program and hears its AAC audio.

## Rotate access

Use the rotate action to replace the Receiver SRT URL. The old URL should no longer be used; send the replacement privately.

Rotate immediately if the URL appears in a screenshot, stream, chat, log excerpt, or support message.

## End the share

Stop sending or end the session from the dock. Scene Share stops its own output without changing the user's configured OBS streaming service or recording output.
